Solar Keratoses
Also known as actinic keratoses or sunspots
Can be precursors for skin cancers squamous cell carcinomas (SCC’s)
The conversion rate is quite low at ~5%
When there are one or two they can be treated with liquid nitrogen or cryotherapy
When they are widespread we use a cream for regional treatment such as Efudix/Vitamin D combination
